Isle of Wight Flag Design
The Isle of Wight flag features a white diamond over blue and white waves. The diamond represents the island, while the waves reflect its position in the sea. The small notch at the top of the diamond represents the River Medina.
The flag was designed by John Graney and officially adopted in January 2009. It was chosen through a public competition and has since become a popular symbol of Isle of Wight identity.
