We’re Chris and Gemma — the brains, hands, and accidental chaos behind Pin Voyage. We run our small-but-feisty business from the outskirts of Bristol in the UK, fuelled by creativity, caffeine, and the occasional “What if we tried this…?” moment.
Pin Voyage began when our wooden wall map turned up missing some pins. Outrageous. So we made our own… and then things got out of hand. People started sliding into our messages asking for custom pins for countries the big sets forgot about. That’s when we realised: the store-bought pins were, frankly, a bit rubbish. So we decided we’d just make better ones. And we did.
From there, customers asked for lapel pins and pin badges — and honestly, we’re terrible at saying no — so onto the product list they went. We started out on Etsy, but eventually thought, “Why should Etsy have all the fun?” So this website was born. Our master plan? Keep growing, keep creating, and keep saying “Sure, we can probably make that!” when customers send us wild ideas.
Everything we make is handcrafted, often with “help” from our little helpers, our daughter Poppy, who brings enthusiasm,crazy ideas, creativity and occasional chaos. Our dog also plays a crucial role — supervising from the sofa, usually asleep, but we’re pretty sure he’s assessing quality with one eye open.
